I’m Trace Keller. I love a couple things in life: long walks on the beach, any competitive sport, a good movie, and hanging out with friends.

Who am I

Thank you so much for taking a look at my work. I am so blessed to be able to take photos and videos for a living. I truly do get so excited for every single project, because I think we always have a shot at creating something so beautiful.

As I sit here on my couch thinking about what I wanna write about, I think there is really one thing worth sharing.

I did not grow up thinking myself a creative of any kind. Yet in 2022 I took up a camera, and something long asleep in me began to stir. At a young age, my life was transformed when I met Jesus. Everything I have is His: my gifting, my personality. It was all personally crafted by Him.

When I started taking photos, I honestly wasn’t good at all. My editing wasn’t good, my composition was terrible… Obviously, I still have a lot to learn, and I have loved having some really good production mentors in my life (Nathan Zanders, DJ Ramirez, Maxwell Cain). But I actually started praying that God would make me more creative. In some funny, unique way, He listened to that prayer.

What is there for me to boast in except Christ? I think I am a really fun guy to have around, whether that’s on a couples shoot or on set, but even my joy comes from Christ. All I have is from Him. I want all my work to glorify God. How do I do that? Through telling the stories of anyone that comes to me. Every human has one, and whether they know it or not, they are beautiful and valued.

The world is loud right now. Everyone’s scrolling past everyone else, and most of it blurs together. But a good story still stops people. Not a copy of something they’ve seen, just something real, and different from the rest. Every person is unique in their own way. I want to capture your wedding, your brand, or your project the way only you could tell it. And all it takes to get started is a YES.
